Dear Blog, or should I say Dear Dairy, or Dear readers. I am not sure that I have much readers, but if you happen to read this, share the love!! OK I am just kidding... I want to write more here. I am inspired everyday so why not share this more with you.....At this moment I am really fascinated with transparency. This picture above is a mens style from the Bottega Veneta Cruise (mens) Collection. Menswear is so inspiring for me, but that will be a whole other post..... I just found the coolest transparent bomber here. I am a big fan of combining the more exclusive brands with vintage or brands like H&M. Celine, (off course!!) showed us this look, for the resort 2012 collection. I can't keep up, this collection seems ages ago, since there are so many new collections, but this look feels timeless for me.....I might be a bit late to pick this up, but I just love the fragile piece in combination with a more tough piece, to keep the look interesting. I found a really nice shirt and combined with this bomber, I will be ready for take off this christmas!
OK, I just had to share these two pictures shot by TOMMY TON for style.com at New York Fashionweek. Both bags are by Celine, I can tell, beause I spend Eeeevenings and EEEeeeevenings just staring at these gorgeous bags. This DIAMOND BAG with the Electric blue PONY is so popping next to the light grey Suede. Also the closure buckle is a piece of jewelery on it's own.
Gaia Repossi (Love her style) is carrying the Classic Flapbag in a large size. I have never seen this model in this big size before, but I LIKE it!
No, it is not a hallucination, it is.....or well maybe it is.... I am so in the mood for this. I mean flowers. The smell of flowers, the colors, all of it! I don't know who made this collage, but it makes my evening. Lovely skirt by Celine, worn with a plain white shirt. I am going to make a start by putting some flowers in a vase, let the summer begin!
"I prefer FUN jewelry', if I may quote Garance on her blog. She pointed me (on her blog) on these beautiful pieces of jewelry from SHOUROUK. The Sterling silver set of three rings with connecting chains and swarovski crystals, reminds me of a design by Gaia Repossi:
I like both styles; The Bold jewelry by Shouhouk and the minimalistic syle by Gaia Repossi .
It just depends on the mood I guess.
What I like about these pieces of jewelry is that they put less attention on the pieces of clothing that you are wearing. With a single necklace like this, you don't need anything else then a plain white tee.
I don't know if this post has anything to do about the fact that I really had no idea what to wear this morning. Normally I choose my clothes just naturally in the morning, but this morning was different.
Jeans and a Teeshirt, is the answer for mornings like this. But not if you (in this case me) have been eating cupcakes ( LOVE) the whole week.....So long jeans button! Yes, I am going to exersice again, and yes I am on the lookout for pieces inspired by these ones, that I can just wear with a S I M P L E top.
STOP IT RIGHT NOW, is a blog of an american girl I tend to look on every now and then. Her style is I guess I can call it edgy chic. This TEE is great! I am all into tees with funny and groovy teksts (yes, groovy is my new word). It is so eightties to be groovy. I would like to be GROOVY in this CELINE me ALONE tee. Check out her blog, it's worth it.
3.1 PHILIP LIM: For sure the most fluid, airy and refreshing SS12 collection. The colors are like they have spend days in the sun. (Something that I am looking forward doing) The look is soft, but isn't sweet. Rather, there was a refined sportiness to those slouchy but elegant silk trousers with track-pant vents that opened over a shoe, and in the layering of macaron hues in very measured doses.
I personally really like the violet color. The inspiration for this collection was the Kite. It was taken literally in tops and dresses sewn from rectangular panels with loose edges that fluttered as the models walked.
Capturing movement.....is for me what is fashion is all about.
I am a bit silent on my blog lately. I guess sometimes that happens. My inspiration will come back, that is a promise. I am just a little bussy with other stuff, like dancing to this song....bon soiree!
I can't get enough of the Olympia Le Tan clutches. Even the insides are fabric-covered with little flowers! I wrote earlier about her here, but here are just a few pics from her N E W collection. These colors make my day!
This picture found on Stockholm - Streetstyle is so cool. The navy heather jacket with the navy heather sweat underneath, looks so effortless. Also the deep navy shoes with the back socks, are really cute. I love her SHADES and necklace as well! If I just could paste my head on this outfit!!
For me this is the new definition of " La baguette". These AW12 13 CELINE bags are screaming for a "DO IT YOURSELF". Isn't that the definition of beauty; That something looks so simple that you THINK you can make it easily by yourself, but you can't... They look really effortless, I kinda like the blurry pics...au revoir!
We all know them: the Breton Stripes. I love the leather detailed zip seen on a CELINE jersey top; those special details gives a twist to the normal Breton striped tops. I am having a general obsession about stripes. I also love the Striped shirt, here seen on Emma Elwin. It just looks so fresh, worn with a denim and you are ready for the official first day of Spring!
I was reconsidering if I wanted to post this picture. It is kinda boring, and personal at the same time. But one of my quilty pleasures is to see what other people have in their bag, so I thought why not. This is what I have in my bag. A lot of coins, while I have a wallet for them....Chloe eu de parfum, I love that scent and I can't go anywere without my Clinique "All about Eyes Serum" It just freshens up your look, wherever you are. Oh yes, and the creamy blusher from Fusion Brands, is also very nice; a pinkish color, really good for the spring time!
This short film by Hanneli Mustaparta for Massimo Dutti, is really lovely. I love the personal athmosphere of it. Sweet, but not too much. It is shot in Marrakech, and that place happens to be the city and surrounding that I am going to visit this summer, can't wait!
These bags seen at AW 12 VALENTINO are amazing. I love the handstrap, for me it is a new way of carrying your bag. Just as the picture here below, how Hanneli is carrying her bag....The red is really popping. The studs are just right, ooh lala!
Seeing Hannelli in this Base-Ball (funny word) jacket makes me wanna scream, I want that jacket too! I had one once, a small Burgundy-Off white colored one, but I lost it! I really like this look. She plays with her femininity and her layed back side, tres cool!
This dress by from the AW12 collection by Rika is my favorite. This is just a snapshot, the real AW12 lookbook will be on the website soon. It is almost not a ready to wear piece anymore. All the leather stars are sewn on there by hand. I love the color-combination of Black and Amber.
Yesterday I saw the movie The Lady. A true story about Aung San Suu Kyi. It left me speechless. What a strong woman. She was awardedThe Nobel Peace Prize in 1991 for her non-violent struggle for democracy and human rights.
For me she is such an inspiration. The movie had beautiful colors as well....I will be on this one for a while, it grabbed me, and I don't think it will let go.
Meet my new friend for this Summer. The Rika Mini starbag. I had my eyes on it for a while now. I wanted the black version, because it is so versatile and classic. But when I layed my eyes on this color it was pretty tempting as well. I just had to go for it. It is playful and I will wear it with anything!
