Tie Dye Leather

Rika Fall 2006, crochet cardigan

Batic or Tie Dye is a technique that I love. I have dyed many tee-shirts myself with different results. That is the exciting part about it I think, because you never know how it is going to turn out. Every piece is unique. I didn't know that you can use this technique also with leather. Leather is a natural product, so why not indeed! I found these lovely pieces from RIKA Tie Dyed leather. I think the color BLUE is so amazing! The sad thing is that these pieces are from the Fall winter 2010 collection, so they won't be available anymore, but somehow I feel it coming again, this look...incantevole!
